Pete
1 year old Pete has been an outside dog his entire life. A small boy at only about 45 pounds he is nonetheless a pretty typical Golden Puppy. He is not housebroken and will need someone to work with him on these skills. We have found that dogs who have been outside all their lives are generally easy to potty train within a short time with some diligence and attention. Pete has not had any obedience training, is not sure about other dogs and would be best as the only dog in his family.

Pete loves people and children. We think that Pete is a special diamond in the rough. He will be a wonderful companion as a only dog. Will you give Pete that opportunity?

UPDATE: Pete is currently being fostered by his obedience trainer who says that Pete will be great in a home with no other dogs and older children. He knows basic commands and is eager to learn.
