Lucy

Lucy came to us and seemed to settle in immediately. She was very timid when she first arrived and seemed to be afraid of young female children. It took her a short time to get used to our younger grandchildren, but once she did, she warmed right up to them all. She did not respond to her given name (Lou) so we decided to change it after a couple of days to Lucy. She got along right away with Sadie, our Miniature Schnauzer. Sadie and Lucy sleep side by side on their beds. In mid-May we moved up to our cabin on Cedar Mountain in Utah for the summer. The first time Lucy saw a deer she started shaking and ran and hid behind our swing on the upper deck. Since that day she has now decided she likes to chase the deer out of our front meadow and up into the woods. She has gotten braver about a lot of things. She now is “First” into the truck before Sadie when we go on rides and “First” down the stairs in the mornings. She and our little Sadie get along great. It is a joy to watch them play as Lucy is so gentle with the little one. She loves being next to one of us at all times and sticks very close to home. We absolutely adore her and look forward to many more years with her. Thank you for bring her into our family….Kirk and Carol Anderson
